This Sandberg bass guitar is slightly more expensive than the aforementioned model but players can rest assured they are getting the best for their money. The Custom Thinline only features one Delano X-Tender pickup but this is more than enough to meet the needs of any bassist. The tone of the bass can be altered using the Sandberg 3-band preamp which is in-built into the instrument. Player’s are able to switch from a thick bass tone to a softer clean sound in the flick of a knob, truly extraordinary.
This Sandberg bass guitar comes with a bolt-on neck crafter from Canadian hard rock maple and features a rosewood fingerboard. Player’s have a couple of different body options to choose from with this model. Although the body uses mahogany tone wood in all of the selections, you can choose between a flamed maple top and hollow body version. If you’re looking for a great instrument to jam with in unplugged session I would definitely recommend considering a hollow body Sandberg Thinline bass.
In conclusion, Yamaha and Ibanez aren’t the only manufacturers which produce quality instruments.
